The Kitchen Night Club in Dublin

The Kitchen Nightclub opened in the basement of The Clarence Hotel in Dublin’s Temple Bar district on Valentine’s night, 1994. Owned by U2’s Bono and Edge, for years the club was the hangout for glamorous rock stars and supermodels, hipsters who loved to dance and hedonists who loved to sweat.
After eight fine years serving the Irish dance scene with aplomb, The Kitchen crew switched off the lights… …until March 2011 when Dublin’s original rock’n’roll hotel The Clarence lifted the lid on an all new nightclub in the heart of Dublin city. The Kitchen Nightclub received a gourmet facelift which includes a spacious dance floor, great seating and leaning areas and one enormous main bar serving fast pints and exceptionally good cocktails at reasonable prices.

The room off the main floor is the VIP area The Pantry which boasts a super lovely interior and when not hired out for private events can be used by all in the club. Tucked in behind the DJ Box, is a little private haven called The DJ Booth, which can be reserved for small groups and comes complete with its own private loo! Throughout the 600 capacity club, the décor, the lighting and the sound system are all silver service. We’re all about good people, having a good time. Our clubbers feel at home in our Kitchen, a place where they can celebrate a great day and shake off a crap one by throwing their asses around the dance floor for the night. Kitchen people are more interested in having a laugh with their mates than pouting and posing in a corner.

The Kitchen is a club where the doorman makes you smile, the bar staff remember your order and the DJ plays what you want to hear. It’s pretty simple really! Open from Wednesday through Sunday every week, The Kitchen Nightclub hosts a range of club nights from commercial dance to hot house, banging techno to funk soul grooves.
